Bellator MMA now has 5 World Champions from Brazil as Flyweight Juliana Velasquez joins 2x Double Champ Patricio Pitbull, Douglas Lima and Cris Cyborg inside the Bellator MMA Champions Circle after a dominate Performance against former champion Ilima-Lei Macfarlane capturing the decision victory after 5 rounds of action.

Showcasing the ability to stop the takedown, Velasquez used her size and reach advantage to outpoint the Hawaiian standout now living and training in San Diego landing a highlight flying knee in the third round which changed momentum in the fight.
