Khamzat Chimaev proved to the world just how dominant he can be by defeating the current UFC Champion Dricus Du Plessis from South Africa with 4 10/8 rounds out of the total 5 rounds of competition. Chimaev moved to 15-0 with the 5 round performance over DDP making him UFC Middleweight champion. The Co Main event saw newly acquired Bellator MMA/PFL star Aaron Pico start with a quick start before floating himself into a Lerone Murphy spinning back elbow. The elbow landed with so much force that Aaron Pico was knocked out instantly.
Carlos Prates picked up a spinning elbow KO of his own against Geoff Neal before calling for the UFC to add him to the event in Rio Brazil in 8 weeks. Michael Venom Page moved up to middleweight for his second bout facing Jared Cannonier where he picked up a decision in an impressive fight displaying his diversity in striking and range management. Tim Elliott used a guillotine choke to finish former Rizin FF Campion Kai Asakura while Chimaev teammate Baisangur Susurkaev picked up a RNC win over Eric Nolan as they both made their debut with the promotion.
Michael Oleksiejczuk picked up a KO win over Gerald Meerschaert in the first round after Lupita Godinez won an entertaining decision over WMMA legend Jessica Andrade who was making her return to the 115lbs division. Alexander Hernandez used his striking to finish Chase Hooper who looked improved at the lightweight division despite the loss. Drakkar Klose and Karine Silva both picked up decision wins as Joseph Morales earned The Ultimate Fighter award in the nights opening bout defeating Alibi Idiris by triangle choke.
