Andrea KGB Lee was suppose to make her UFC debut earlier this year, however due to a small loophole in the USADA testing program, after having her fight announced, she was removed and had to wait until she passed a mandatory time of testing due to a previous failure for a banned performance substance when she was competing on the regional MMA circuit.
The former LFA champion did not disappoint as she used dominate position and a strong Thai clench to control the action against Veronica Macedo to win all 3 rounds of a unanimous 27-30 fight. The Karate Mafia fighter looked impressive utilizing several hand traps in the clench to set up effective strikes before initiating and securing several throws.
Threatening with submissions and utilizing elbows from the top position, Andrea Lee put forth a dominate performance as her professional record improved to 1-0 in the UFC and 8-2 overall. Lee’s last defeat came in 2016 when Sara D’Alelio was able to secure a RNC submission at Invicta FC 16. prior to that KGB only defeat was a split decision to former UFC title contender Roxanne Modafferi. Andrea KGB Lee looked impressive in her UFC debut and will be a star for the division.
