Holly Holm is the only professional fighter male or female to win an MMA world championship and a Boxing World Championships during her career. The former Legacy Fighting Champion turned UFC Champion Holly Holm was already a Boxing Hall of Fame fighter before she ever tried her hand at mixed martial arts.
Known perhaps most for her KO head kick over Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm was a 17 time World Boxing Champion before making the switch to Mixed Martial Arts and MMA. Training with Master instructor Winklejohn in New Mexico USA, Holm has established herself as one of the top female combat sports athletes in history.
Following her release from the UFC Holly Holm had briefly announced she was going to fight former Bellator MMA Champion Julia Budd during the inaugural GFL MMA event, however once the promotions finances didn’t materialize she pivoted to a featured spot on the Jake Paul Vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Undercard.
With the win over the previously undefeated Yolanda Guadalupe Vega Ochoa Holly Holm earned her first Boxing victory since her win over Mary McGree in May of 2013. With the win on there books Holm improved to 34-2-3 as a Pro and is currently ranked 6th in the world as. professional boxer in the light weight division.
