Former WBA, WBO, IBF heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is set to return, and now when know exactly what date. According to Frank Warren who announced the bout on Twitter Fury will return in his hometown after almost two and a half year away from the ring.

Fury who is 25-0 with 18 KO’s has admitted to a substance abuse problem during the time away from the ring, and has publicly battled with depression. Only 29 years of age, Fury last beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 shocking the world with his performance in Germany.
While Fury has been away from the ring, Anthony Joshua has continued his meteoric rise now being ranked #1 and now holds the WBA, WBO, IBF titles that where once Fury’s. Currently Fury is training with Ricky Hatton another former World Champion in boxing for his return. While Fury would need a couple of impressive performances, a bout with Anthony Joshua might not be too far off.
