Dakota Ditcheva stepped on the scale today at Championship weight as did her opponent Valentina Scatizzi ahead of tomorrow nights Professional Fighters League PFL Europe 2023 Finals taking place inside the 3Arena in Dublin Ireland.
With the victory Dakota Ditcheva will improve to 10-0 and collect a cool $100,000 PFL Europe Championship check to go with her regional PFL belt. While the fight still needs to occur, Valentina Scatizzi seems heavily overmatch at 2-1 as a professional. Ditcheva is considered a bluechip prospect in the sport after an extensive Muay Thai background and a lineage of fighting passed down from her mother Lisa Howarth a former British Kickboxing Champion.
Cyborg who is in training camp for a Boxing fight Jan. 19th in Temecula CA, first met Dakota in Jan of 2022 when she was competing outside of England for the first time in her Mixed Martial Arts Career for the All Women’s PAWFC event which Cyborg works in an ambassadorship role for. Speaking of Dakota’s potential Cyborg had this to say, “She is very talented, she has all the tools. She is young and it is about making sure you have the right people around you at that stage. PFL has done a good job of building her resume and winning the PFL Europe tournament is the next step of turning her into a star. I am excited to see her reach her full potential.” Dakota has spent time training at ATT with JudoKayla in the past.
The full PFL Europe Finals fight card will feature 13 professional fights with Nathan Kelly X Dimitry Solimeis as the main event. Other big time showdowns include Frans Mlambo X Khurshed Kakhorov, John Mitchell X Jakub Kaszuba, Simeon Powell X Jakob Nedoh, and Brett Johns, Tom Breese, Conor Hughes also being featured in matchups.
