When people hear the name Cris Cyborg, they usually think about mixed martial arts, world championships, and my career inside the cage. For more than 21 years, I’ve dedicated my life to combat sports, becoming a world champion in five major MMA organizations and building a fan base that follows me around the world.

But one of the most important lessons I’ve learned throughout my career is that being a successful athlete and building a successful personal brand are two different things.

That’s one of the reasons I decided to join OnlyFans.

Today, with almost 80,000 monthly subscribers and one of the largest individual video libraries on OFTV, I’ve seen firsthand how the OnlyFans ecosystem can help athletes, entertainers, and independent creators connect with audiences in ways traditional social media platforms cannot.

And for me, it’s about much more than generating income. It’s about controlling my content, telling my story, and creating a lasting connection with the people who have supported my career.

Why I Joined OnlyFans

Throughout my MMA career, I’ve competed on some of the biggest stages in combat sports, including the UFC, Bellator, Strikeforce, Invicta FC, and PFL.

Those opportunities helped introduce me to millions of fans, but there’s something different about having a platform where I can communicate directly with my audience.

On Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, creators are constantly competing with algorithms. Sometimes you spend hours creating a video, only for a small percentage of your followers to actually see it.

OnlyFans gave me another way to build a community around my personal brand.

I wanted to show fans more of my life outside the cage. My training, travels, family, faith, business interests, and everyday experiences are all part of who I am.

I’m not just a fighter. I’m also a wife, mother, grandmother, entrepreneur, and someone who enjoys sharing the journey with people who have supported me for years.

My OnlyFans content focuses on my lifestyle, behind-the-scenes experiences, training, and personal connection with fans.

One thing I want people to understand is that you don’t have to create adult content to find opportunities within the OnlyFans ecosystem.

There are opportunities for athletes, fitness coaches, musicians, entertainers, and other creators who want to develop their own communities.

Almost 80,000 Monthly Subscribers and a Growing Digital Community

One of the accomplishments I’m especially proud of is growing my OnlyFans audience to almost 80,000 monthly subscribers.

To me, that represents something much more valuable than a number on a screen.

It represents people who are interested in my journey beyond the fights.

Some fans have followed me since my early days competing in Brazil. Others discovered me during my championship runs in Strikeforce, the UFC, Bellator, or PFL. And some may never have watched an MMA fight before discovering my content.

That is what makes content creation so powerful.

You have the opportunity to introduce yourself to new audiences while strengthening relationships with the people who already support you.

For professional athletes, this is especially important because our competitive careers don’t last forever.

The personal brand you build today can continue creating opportunities long after your final competition.

Building One of the Largest Video Libraries on OFTV

Another part of my relationship with OnlyFans that I’m proud of is the amount of content I’ve created for OFTV.

OFTV is the free streaming platform associated with OnlyFans, offering original, non-explicit content from creators in fitness, sports, cooking, entertainment, lifestyle, and other categories.

Over the years, I’ve developed what has become one of the platform’s largest individual video libraries.

My videos give fans an opportunity to see what my life looks like when I’m not competing.

Whether I’m training, traveling, exploring new places, spending time with family, or sharing behind-the-scenes experiences, I enjoy giving people an authentic look at my life.

I also believe there’s tremendous long-term value in creating a library of content.

A fight might last 15 or 25 minutes, but a video can continue introducing your personality and your brand to new people for years.

That’s one reason I’ve made consistency such an important part of my content strategy.

For anyone interested in discovering the platform, you can watch free original programming at OFTV.

OnlyFans Has Become a Multibillion-Dollar Creator Economy Business

One of the biggest reasons I believe people should pay attention to OnlyFans is the extraordinary growth of the platform.

The financial numbers demonstrate just how significant the creator economy has become.

According to financial reporting based on Fenix International’s accounts for the fiscal year ending November 2025:

  • 437 million registered fan accounts were on OnlyFans worldwide.
  • More than 5 million registered creator accounts were on the platform.
  • Approximately $7.8 billion in fan payments were processed during the year.
  • Approximately $6.2 billion was paid to creators during 2025.
  • More than $1.5 billion in annual platform revenue was generated.

These figures represent registered accounts rather than necessarily unique or active individuals, but they still demonstrate the enormous scale of the business.

Since launching in 2016, OnlyFans has paid creators approximately $30 billion cumulatively, according to financial reporting published in 2026.

Think about that for a moment.

Billions of dollars have gone directly to people creating their own content and building their own audiences.

When I started my professional MMA career in 2005, opportunities like this were almost impossible to imagine.

Athletes depended heavily on promoters, television networks, sponsors, and media companies to create commercial opportunities.

Today, creators can develop their own businesses and reach customers directly.

That change is something I believe every professional athlete and entrepreneur should understand.

Why the OnlyFans Business Model Is Attractive to Creators

One of the most interesting things about OnlyFans is its business model.

Creators generally receive 80% of eligible fan payments, while the platform retains 20%.

That means creators can potentially earn revenue through subscriptions and other supported paid-content features.

Of course, creating an account doesn’t guarantee success or a certain amount of income. You still need an audience, a content strategy, consistency, and a reason for people to follow your work.

But I appreciate the idea that creators can develop a direct relationship with their supporters rather than relying exclusively on advertising revenue or sponsorship opportunities.

As a professional fighter, I understand how important it is to diversify your income.

You never know when an injury, canceled fight, promotional dispute, or other unexpected situation might affect your career.

Building your own content business can create another opportunity outside your primary profession.

And unlike competing in combat sports, content creation doesn’t require me to step into a cage and fight someone!

You Don’t Have to Be an Adult Content Creator

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about OnlyFans is that every creator must produce adult content.

OnlyFans is widely known for adult entertainment, and that remains a significant part of its business. But it also supports creators working in other categories.

My own experience demonstrates how an athlete can use the platform to share lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content without making explicit material.

Through OFTV, creators can also reach audiences with free, non-explicit video programming.

I believe there’s an opportunity for many different types of personalities to build their brands, including fitness professionals, combat sports athletes, coaches, musicians, and lifestyle creators.

The important thing is understanding your audience and creating content that provides value to them.

You don’t have to copy what someone else is doing.

Your personality, experiences, knowledge, and story can be the content.

My Advice to Athletes and Creators Thinking About Starting OnlyFans

If you’re an athlete or creator considering opening an OnlyFans account, my biggest recommendation is to think of yourself as a business.

Don’t simply create an account and expect people to find you.

Develop a strategy.

Think about the audience you want to reach, what makes your content unique, and how frequently you can realistically publish.

For athletes, that might mean sharing training camps, nutrition routines, travel experiences, recovery methods, or exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

For other creators, it might involve education, entertainment, personal storytelling, or documenting a journey.

I also believe it’s important to understand the financial side of the business. Revenue is not the same as profit, and creators need to consider production costs, taxes, privacy, and the time required to maintain a community.

There is competition, and success isn’t automatic.

But the opportunity to create something that belongs to your personal brand is worth exploring.

How OnlyFans Fits Into the Future of the Cris Cyborg Brand

I’ve spent more than two decades building my career through hard work, discipline, and the support of fans around the world.

I’ve been fortunate to win world championships, travel internationally, build business relationships, and create opportunities beyond MMA.

OnlyFans has become another important part of that journey.

With almost 80,000 monthly subscribers and an extensive library of OFTV videos, I’ve been able to share more of my personality and experiences with people who want to know the person behind the fighter.

For me, that is the real value of the creator economy.

It’s about giving people the ability to build something independently, connect directly with their communities, and turn their creativity into opportunities.

I still love fighting. I still love competing. And I still love representing my fans every time I step into the cage.

But I’m also excited about continuing to grow my brand outside combat sports.

If my experience can encourage another athlete, entrepreneur, or creator to explore a new opportunity, that’s something I’m happy to share.

Your career might introduce people to your name, but your personal brand gives them a reason to keep following your journey.

Thank you to everyone who continues supporting me, watching my videos, and following my adventures.
