With Saturday’s performance Cyborg officially scored her first fight listed on Box Rec and improved to 2-0 overall as a professional in the sport of Boxing. MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion after winning featherweight gold in Bellator MMA, UFC, Invicta FC, and Strikeforce Cyborg made her debut against Brazilian National Champion Simone Silva for the FMS Superwelterweight belt and followed up that performance for a Co Main Event matchup against Gabrielle Holloway on the Terence Crawford X David Avanesyan boxing event in Omaha Nebraska.
A true Combat Sports legend, Cyborg is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt who won the World Championships twice while competing in the Kimono. With top level freestyle wrestling wins, and an ADCC medal on her resume, Cyborg is 3-1 inside the Muay Thai ring in addition to her stellar Mixed Marital Arts Record.
Cyborg who dropped Holloway in the third round after double bodyshots, easily won on the judges scorecards showing a much improved presence inside of the ring when comparing her first outing against Simone Silva last September. For Cyborg fans are anxious to see her return to the Bellator MMA cage, Although she is making new fans in an entirely different fanbase while she is proving herself inside the boxing ring.
