Saturday’s Bellator 300 took a bit of a hit, as the already stacked card was set to make promotional history as the first time the Bellator MMA promotion had ever placed 4 world championship fights on the same event. These type of things happen in MMA however and Linton Vassell was forced to withdrawal from the event with an illness.
With a week remaining before Bellator 300 the top Light Heavyweight contender Corey Anderson went to social media saying he was willing to fight Saturday in San Diego California, however it appears the promotion has decided to delay Ryan Bader’s return to the cage and no replacement will be found.
Cris Cyborg will still look to defend her Bellator MMA Championship against Cat Zingano who is the #1 contender in Bellator MMA and undefeated at 145lbs in the promotion. A former All American collegiate wrestler and Brazilian jiu Jitsu Brown Belt, Cat Zingano will have her work cut out for her against Cris Cyborg who will be looking for her 16th Career victory in a World Title fight.
