Gervonta Davis throws shade at his promoter Floyd Mayweather on twitter

Is there trouble on The Money Team between Mayweather and rising star Gervonta Davis?  2 belt champion Davis seems upset, and at least according to Bob Arum, Mayweather tried to make a fight between Gervonta Davis and world champion in three weight classes Vasyl Lomachenko happen with Top Rank Promotions.

Arum went on to say that he thought the motive for Mayweather was to see Davis get beat up and stopped by Lomachenko.  Speaking to FIGHTHYPE Arum said that Mayweather was ‘pissed off’ at Davis and “Floyd called To [duBueof] and I think he was pissed off at Davis and he wanted to see Davis destroyed. It doesn’t seem like things have cooled either as Davis used a fan’s question to throw shade into the direction of Mayweather and his management team.

When a fan hit up Gervonta Davis “I wondering when is Gervonta Davis contract up with Mayweather promotions.” Davis clapped back with a quick reply “Me Too.” Davis then went on to Instagram to make the bottom post where he is clearly frustrated with the support system he is currently working with.  Gervonta Davis is one of the young marketable faces of boxing that has started to develop a following, and despite his impressive boxing accolades, has recently hinted that given the right opportunity he would be willing to fight MMA.
