A former member of the Brazilian National Judo and Olympic Team and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, Dione Barbosa has been a part of several of the last Bellator MMA training camps with Cris Cyborg.
5-2 overall with a 2-1 LFA Record, Dione Barbosa has been considered a “Blue Chip” prospect in the sport of MMA and is a pupil under Rafael Cordeiro of King’s MMA as she gets set to show the world what she can do tomorrow night on ESPN + as the opening bout of Dana White’s Contender Series.
Dione Barbosa will face Rainn Guerrero who is 5-1 although has faced considerably lesser opponents when compared to Barbosa’s opposition which includes a win over UFC fighter Karine Silva and her only losses against ADCC Grappling sensation and undefeated Bellator MMA fihgter Jena Bishop and the 10-1 undefated Josiane Nunes who is currently signed to the UFC.
