
Oleksandr Usyk became 2x Heavyweight undisputed champion in spectacular fashion stopping the Daniel Dubois by 5th round KO in front 0f 90,000 fans inside of Wembley stadium. Usyk put on a masterclass to capture the Heavyweight divisions unification for the 2nd time in his career.
Usyk now 38 put Dubois down twice in the 5th round before he was unable to beat the count forcing the ref to stop the fight. The fight was a rematch from the pairs 2023 fight which was also won by Usyk by ref stoppage. Now 24-0 as a preofessional Oleksandr Usyk has placed himself amongst one of the greatest heavyweights of all time.
Dubois defeated Anthony Joshua last September suffered his 3rd loss in 25 professional bouts. With the win Usyk claimed the IBF title that had been stripped from him back in 2023 after unifying the belts adding it to his WBA, WBO and WBC Championships.
Shortly after the victory the WBO declared Joseph Parker the next mandatory for Oleksandr Usyk, however Usyk has not revealed what his current plans for professional boxing are after his latest victory.
