Darren Till X Luke Rockhold to face off with Misfits Boxing

Two former UFC stars in Luke Rockhold and Darren Till are getting set to step into the boxing ring to face one another.  With Misfits Boxing looking to showcase a fight card Aug. 30th at the AO arena in Manchester England the two fighters came together for a press conference which included Tony Ferguson announcing his debut in Boxing against influencer Salt Papi.

Both Rockhold and Till met during their first face-off and security was needed to keep the two seasoned fighters from grappling one another, while Tony Ferguson and Salt Papi faced off without incident. Till who is currently 2-0 in Boxing this year will challenge Rockhold who was a former UFC middleweight champion and has had bouts with BKFC and Karate Combate prior to this being his boxing debut.

Tony Ferguson left the UFC following his submission loss to Michael Chiesa in August of 2024 which was his 8th consecutive MMA loss.  Originally scheduled to face Dillon Danis for the Global Fight League, the defunct league now allows Ferguson the chance to make his boxing debut against Salt Papi.

Misfits Boxing has certainly placed some entertaining boxing fight for fans.  Do you think we will eventually see Cris Cyborg step into the misfits boxing ring?  With an upcoming PFL MMA fight it is expected that Cris Cyborg will return to the professional boxing ring sometime in early 2026.
