It appears the injury bug hasn’t stopped with Gunnar Nelson and according to reports by David Teymur it appears Don Madge who recently signed to fight the Scandinavian prospect is out of the fight. While no details where given on the reason for Madge’s removal, we can confirm that it was due to an injury.

Don Madge who is on a 4 fight win streak and was EFC Lightweight Champion before signing to the UFC was scheduled to face David Teymur who is 4-0 in his UFC career at UFC Fight Night 130. Teymur who is still looking to compete on the event took to social media to ask for a fight against Nik Lentz who lost his opponent Leonardo Santos for UFC Utica due to injury.
At this time it is not known if the UFC will look in the direction of booking Nik Lentz Vs David Teymur or if another option for Teymur is being considered for UFC Liverpool. With an injury to Don Madge, he is hopeful that the bout can be rescheduled against Teymur once healthy.
