
In total 9 fighters who compete for the Professional Fighters League have now been suspended by the NSAC causing a major shakeup to many of the season tournament brackets. In total 7 PFL athletes are scheduled to appear on Thursday’s NSAC agenda including former PFL Heavyweight Champion Bruno Cappelozza and former UFC Challenger Thiago Santos.
According to Marc Raimondi sources told ESPN that the two there PFL fighters not listed on Thursday’s agenda will also have their suspension extended. As of now, no further details on why the fighters have been suspended have been released, however that is expected to come Thursday.
In a statement last week PFL said that it “in in talks with USADA about starting an Anti-doping program” Fans would be familiar with USADA as it leads the UFC’s controversial anti dopoing program.
The 9 fighters include Thiago Santos, Will Fleury, Krysztof Jotko, Bruno Cappelozza, Rizvan Kuniev, Cezar Ferreira, Alejandro Flores, and Daniel Torres.
