Cris Cyborg welcomes Youtuber Sofie Dossie to the world of Mixed Martial Arts

Sofie Dossie first jumped into the spotlight in 2016 when she appeared on the 11th season of America’s Got Talent.  Her Youtube channel has since grown to almost 9 million subscribers and has received over 1.6 billion views.  A total performer Sofie has branched into appearances, music, acting, and more as she continues to grow her brand and cross over appeal.

After having challenged a friend to a fight while watching the UFC, local YouTube Sofie Dossie reached out to Cris Cyborg about a training session and the chance to fight her best friend in a closed-door-fight.  While Cyborg can not sanction a pro bout, she did arrange for a sparring session, putting both girls in headgear and having them wear shinguards and 16oz gloves for protection.

The issuing result was mayhem as neither girl wanted to lose and both laid it all on the line in a crowd cheering 3 round kickboxing fight with takedowns.  You truly have to see the video HAHA.  As for Cyborg, She did a great role in her job as coach, perhaps we will see Sofie join Team Cyborg as influencer boxing is the hottest thing in combat sports right now.
