If you have not heard about the latest social media app Threads which is made by the facebook parent company Meta, the platform officially launched on Wednesday and is already off to a strong start with over 40 million celebrity sign ups including a large number of brands, journalists, and more.
While some think the app could eventually be a “Twitter Killer”, especially with the most recent changes Elon Musk and his team have adopted at Twitter, it is still very early to tell. The Threads app was the top free app in the Apple store and was even a trending topic on Twitter yesterday.
Similar to Twitter Meta caps 500 character limits but allows the ability to like and share like the original facebook platform and gives users the ability to post threads directly to their instagram stories.
