Amru Magomedov might just be the next big name to come out of Team Khabib’s fight camp as the former UAE Warriors Lightweight Champion has signed to fight with the promotion in Dubai on the 7th of February.  A protege of UFC Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Magomedov is considered one of the top prospects in the world for MMA and is a signing that the PFL MMA can be proud of as it’s one of the top free agents currently on the market.  The 26 year old fighter is a perfect 9-0 and will draw Kolton Englund in a 155lbs fight as he makes his PFL MMA debut on the PFL Dubai card this February.

Kolton Englund is a former training partner of Cris Cyborg and after an unsuccessful DWCS opportunity has now rattled of 6 consecutive victories as he looks to stop the momentum of Amru Magomedov before it ever gets started with the Professional Fighters League.   For Magomedov the 7th of February will be shared with teammate and PFL MMA headliner Usman Nurmagomedov who will be headlining the PFL Dubai card as the main event when he faces the PFL MMA 2025 season tournament winner Alfie Davis.  Davis won the lightweight tournament with 3 consecutive victories that year against top fighters such as Clay Collard, Brent Primus, and Gadzhi Rabadanov.

Unbeaten in 9 professional fights, Magomedov has only been to a decision twice with all of his other fights ending by way of submission or knockout.  In his last outing Magomedov took out UFC veteran Alex Da Silva with a body kick that saw his Brazilian opponent finished in the first round.  With the PFL MMA promotion Magomedov will be looking to keep his winning streak alive against a game and experienced opponent.  Dakota Ditcheva will also be on the PFL MMA Dubai fight card facing former Glory kickboxing champion Denis Kielholz and Ramazan Kuramagomedov facing Shamil Musaev in a Co Main event at the welterweight division.

Cyborg who makes her PFL MMA return Dec. 13th against Sara Collins will be fighting the number 3 ranked female fighter in the world who is an undefeated fighter at 6-0 after previously representing the Australian Nation Judo team for over 10 years.  A winner of 17 World Championship fights, Cris Cyborg will be competing in her 20th World Championship bout, something no other fighter in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts has ever accomplished.   Don’t miss Cris Cyborg’s return to the PFL MMA Cage December 13th with Professional Fighters League Lyon France.
