
Max Holloway is the UFC 145lbs Featherweight champion which means he would have to come up a weight class to face lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov at a weight of 155lbs, however if his recent conversation is anything to judge, that is something he has already been considering.
The Featherrweight division already saw the title vacated by Conor Mcgregor when he moved up in weight, could we see that happen again with Holloway? Numagomedov next fight will be against the UFC Interim Champion Tony Ferguson in a bout that as soon as the first punch is thrown will officially be for the undisputed world title of the UFC at 155lbs.
“Everyone seems to not be talking about Khabib.” Holloway said. “I want Khabib. To be the best, you have to beat the best. One of those guys is Khabib.”
