The PFL which is a rebranding of the World Series of Fighting will have its first event June 7th in New York at Madison Square Garden. The Professional Fighters League recently set out a details about their first event which will introduce the a tournament style format with performance based pay.

Fighters in each weight class will compete in a tournament that will last several months and through a playoff style finals will declare a winner of the division. The fighter who captures the tournament championship will be paid 1,000,000$ according to details, and the semi finalist-runner up will be given a 200,000$ purse.
MMA Fighting released the full rosters, however there are some real names on the roster including Jake Shields, Ricky Story, and Will Brooks. Here is the Heavyweight Division
