It appears as though Patricio Pitbull has received his wishes and is finally a free agent. A vocal critic of the Professional Fighters League, Patricio has publicly been asking for his release from the company and PFL co owner Donn Davis took to X to share the news of his release.
“The PFL is all about opportunity, I founded this company to create new great opportunities for top fighters. PFL has and will continue to do that for all top fighters who want to be here.”–he went on to say “we are releasing Patricio Pitbull.
Patricio is a 3x PFL Champion and one of the top featherweights in the history of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts competed once for the PFL defeating Jeremy Kennedy at the Bellator Champions Series in Belfast this past March.
With wins over Daniel Straus, Pat Curran, Daniel Weichel, Mike Chandler, and AJ Mckee fans are looking forward to a Patricio Pitbull run in the UFC with several high profile matches to finish his career.
