Carlos Condit has been a perennial welterweight for the past decade, having fought the best the sport has had to offer inside the 170lbs weight class, Condit has been close to UFC Gold in the division several times, but never actually been the UFC Undisputed Champion of the World at the Welterweight division.

Last weekend Condit returned to action at UFC Glendale to face Alex Cowboy Oliveira who took the fight on 2 weeks notice as a last minute replacement when Condit’s original opponent Matt Brown was forced out of the bout due to injury.
Condit fought a much closer fight than his bout with Neal Magny whoever the result didn’t change, and Condit suffered a 2nd round submission loss to Oliveira dropping his overall record of just 3 wins against 7 losses during his last 10 fights. Many fans are wondering if it is time for the Natural Born Killer Carlos Condit to retire.
