Kayla Harrison just gave an interview less than two days ago saying that she has officially resigned from PFL. If you don’t know who Kayla Harrison is she is Kayla Jean Harrison is an American judoka and an MMA fighter. Harrison competed in the 78 kg weight category in judo and currently fights in the lightweight division in MMA in the event PFL. Her record is 11-0 and she has defeated a lot of great names in the event like Larissa Pacheco, Courtney King, Mariana Morais, Cindy Dandois, and more fighters in the event that were not listed here. Harrison was a free agent for about a month or two and there were a lot of speculations as to what event she was going to go to next. Most people were thinking that she was going to go to Bellator to make the Cris Cyborg vs. Kayla Harrison fight happen but sadly she reassigned her contract with Professional Fighters League.

2x USA Olympic Gold Medalist in Judo Kayla Harrison who has said she can make 145lbs despite competing in the Olympics at 78 Kilos which is just slightly over 170lbs has decided her debut will take place in the 155lbs division. Harrison who is already 27 years old won her first gold medal in 2012 in London and then repeated again in 2016 when the Olympics headed to Rio Brazil.

Since Harrison was not signed with any events many people were speculating of a fight between her and Cyborg. Kayla Harrison opened 2 to 1 against underdog grand slam champion Cris Cyborg in the media. Kayla Jean Harrison is an American judoka and professional MMA fighter who currently fights on the event PFL. Harrison competed in the 78 kg weight category in judo and she is currently fighting in the lightweight division in MMA. Kayla is a great fighter but she has never fought anybody like Cyborg, Cyborg has won against Olympic level wrestlers in Greco style, she has one of the hardest punches in all of the women’s MMA and is 4 times world champion in four different organizations such as Bellator, UFC, Strikeforce and Invicta. In conclusion, it is clear that the judoka Kayla Harrison has never fought anybody at that level or with that much experience since we also know Cyborg has been fighting for 16 years and has been the champion for 14 of them.
