Free Fight| Cris Cyborg X Cat Zingano Bellator 300

Bellator MMA just released Cris Cyborg’s October Bellator 300 Co Main event fight against #1 contender Cat Zingano on their youtube channel for #CyborgNation to watch for free.  Cat Zingano became the #1 contender in the Bellator MMA featherweight division after going 4-0 in the promotion following her release from the UFC.

An Atos Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt and a former All American Collegiate Wrestler, Zingano was supposed to be a real test for Cris Cyborg in the grappling department.  With wins over Amanda Nunes, Miesha Tate, and Raquel Pennington on her resume, Zingano is considered one of the all time great female athletes in the sport.

Cyborg utilizes good range management and a powerful counter punch attack to hurt Zingano early.  After going 0-4 on takedown attempts, Zingano is stuffed to her back where the fight is finished by Ground and Pound and former UFC champion contender Frank Trigg stops the fight as Ref.

Cyborg who returns April 27th to the sport of Boxing has been asking for an MMA super fight against Kayla Harrison, Leah McCourt, and Larissa Pacheco however none of those fights have been able to be  made since the PFL’s acquisition of Bellator MMA, leaving fans to wonder when or if Cyborg will make her MMA return.
