Boxing is back with a summer of big blockbuster fights and the start of that season is going to be this Saturday live from Las Vegas as the Mexican Monster David Benavidez steps into the ring with Caleb Plant as the main event of a stacked Showtime Boxing Pay Per View.  Showtime Sports which is known for their ability to produce some of the most iconic promotional footage in the industry has been following each fighter around as part of the legendary “All Access” video series produced by the promotional company.  Currently the Benavidez Vs Plant All Access episode on YouTube has a staggering 1.2 million views on Youtube which is more than double Jake Paul Vs Anderson Silva  and more than the Jake Paul Vs Tyron Woodley II All Access.

The event which has already sold out the MGM Grand in Las Vegas will be for the Interim Super Middle Weight WBC World Championship.  Benavidez is currently 26-0 with 23 KO’s and comes from a fighting family as his brother Jose Benavidez Jr is a former Boxing World Champion.  Fans of Cris Cyborg may recognize the Benavidez name as the MMA Champion traveled to the Benavidez Gym to prepare for her last boxing fight which was a Co Main Event victory on the Terence Crawford Omaha Nebraska fight night with head coach Jose Benavidez Sr the father of David and Jr.

Caleb Plant is 22-1 as a professional boxer with his only defeat coming to Canelo Alvarez in the 11th round of their fight in 2021.  Plant rebounded with a KO of the year contender against Anthony Dirrell and will be fighting in his adopted hometown of Las Vegas.  The fight is a true bad blood matchup as the two have shared back-and-forth during the press conferences before Caleb Plant purchased the domain to DavidBenavidez.Com to sell his merchandise from which led to Coach Benavidez to release some footage of Plant being removed from an old training facility and led to a ton of internet back and forth between the two camps.

Everything gets settled this Saturday in Las Vegas with an undercard that includes Rising prospect Cody Crowley against proven veteran Abel Ramos, a battle of undefeated as Jesus Alejandro Ramos faces Joseph Spencer and a return of prospect Chris Colbert as he faces the 12-1 Jose Valenzuela. With 9 total fights the event is being showcased on Showtime Sports and promoted under Tom Brown and Sampson Lewkowicz.  Fans of Cris Cyborg will be excited to know she plans to watch the event live and WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE IN LAS VEGAS at the MGM Grand. If you see the champ be sure to ask her for a photo as she loves meeting everyone on CYBORG NATION!!!!
