This weekend the battles were on in the UFC 266 that was held on Saturday, September 25 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the main card, they had some of the UFC’s best fighters and some of the best matches that the public has seen in a long time. The main card was great and included the fight of Jessica Andrade vs. Cynthia Calvillo, Curtis Blaydes vs. Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Nick Diaz vs. Robbie Lawler, Valentina Schveshenko vs. Lauren Murphy, and the main event Alexander Volkanovski vs. Brian Ortega. And what a main event, even though the fight was won by the still champion Alexander Volkanovski it was a close fight, and Brian Ortega did really good against him by almost getting three submissions done on the Volkanoviski throughout the whole fight. However, Brian still took the L and ended up losing by decision and today it was announced that Brian Ortega has been given a 6-month suspension by the Nevada Athletic Commission for the orbital blowout fracture that happened to him during the fight.
Brian Martin Ortega is an American MMA fighter that fought this weekend against Alexander Volkanoviski. He currently fights in the UFC in the featherweight division and is considered one of the best fighters in the featherweight division. A professional since 2010, Ortega has also competed in the RFA, where he was the Featherweight Champion. Brian Ortega is also a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Balck Belt. Ha has a record of 15-2 and has fought Max Holloway, Alexander Volkanoviski, The Korean Zombie, and many more fighters through his career of 11 years. And Alexander Volkanovski is an Australian MMA fighter who is currently signed to the UFC, where he is the current UFC Featherweight Champion and still undefeated after this weekend where he won by decision against the fighter Brian Ortega. Volkanovski has also the great record of 23-1 and he has also fought huge names from the featherweight division such as Max Holloway, Jose Aldo, Chad Mendes, Shane Young, Darren Elkis, Mizuto Hirota and many other fighters since two thousand and twelve.
