The Megafight of the summer Canelo Vs. GGG Rematch going down Cinco De Mayo in Las Vegas isn’t happening…atleast temporarily. Canelo Alvarez who recently failed a drug test for Clenbuterol, and has been claiming the banned substance is a result of contaminated meat, and not intentional indigestion is the result of the failed PED test.

The NVSAC however came down with authority when Executive Director of the Nevada Athletic Commission came down with a temporary suspension until the fighter can appear before the commission on April 10th to discuss the results of his test.
The last match between Canelo and GGG was a very controversial DRAW after 12 rounds of boxing action. The rematch taking place under the Golden Boy promotions banner will happen at the T-mobile Arena, the same site as Cris Cyborg’s past two fights with the UFC. Tickets are not on sale yet, however Cinco De Mayo historically is a huge weekend for boxing.
