Bellator 279 is taking place live tonight from Honolulu Hawaii as Cris Cyborg looks to remain undefeated as she rematches 2x World Boxing Champion and #1 Bellator MMA Contender Arlene Blencowe in the main event.

A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, Cris Cyborg earned that promotion 2 years ago when she submitted Arlene Blencowe with a rear neck choke submission RNC. Known for her KO power, Cyborg landed an early shot on Blencowe in the first fight before taking control with the grappling.

Also appearing on the Bellator 279 card fans will get to see the opening round of the Bantamweight Grand Prix as Juan Archuleta will face Raufeon Stots and Kyoto Horiguchi faces Patchy Mix. Hawaiian Ilima Lei Macfarlane will face Cyborg Nation athlete Justine Kish, Lance Gibson Jr faces Nainoa Dung, Kai Kamaka returns to the arena his father fought in, Goiti Yamauchi faces the 10-1 lean chokheli, Hawaiian Yancy Medeiros makes his return against Emmanuel Sanchez and Keoni Diggs will face Bobby King.
