The man who bailed Conor McGregor out of jail after his UFC 223 Brooklyn Barclay’s center assault has now had a professional fight. BJJ Standout Dillon Danis now 24 years old submitted Kyle Walker in the main card opener for Paramount Network.
At 98 seconds of the first round, Danis was able to secure the toehold footlocker submission bringing his professional record to 1-0 against the now 2-3 Walker. Both of Walker’s previous two loses had come via submissions as well.
Walker landed some good strikes on the standup forcing Danis to pull guard before transitioning to his submission. Speaking of the fight the Straigt Blast Gym fighter had this to say, “I feel great,” Danis said. “I said this before I came in, no one would ever experience submissions like this in MMA.”
