New Jersey Atlantic City will be the site of tomorrow nights UFC Fight Night 128. Today the UFC conducted their early morning official weigh ins, and the results were dubious to say the least. Former Cris Cyborg opponent Leslie Smith made her contracted weight, however her opponent Aspen Ladd missed weight for her fight at 135lbs.

The main event of the card was a lightweight fight between Kevin Lee and Edson Barboza scheduled to take place at 156lbs. Edson made weight for his fight, however Kevin Lee stepped on the scales at 157lbs, and was not allowed to continue cutting by the New Jersey Athletic Commission.
With two fighters missing weight, negotiations occur that usually result in a 20% of purse fine to the fighter missing the weight with half of that sum going to the fighter competing and half of that sum going to the commission.
A flyweight fight between Ulka Sasaki of Japan and Magomed Bibulatov was canceled when Bibulatov never made the weigh ins’. There was initial reports of an injury possibly to the lower back.
