Jake Paul put it all on display both inside and outside of the boxing ring with his latest performance from Orlando Florida where he scored a violent KO over the 10-1 Andre August. Fighting in the main event for a card promoted under his own promotional team banner the fight card featured a full night of fights.
In a bout unrelated to Jake Paul on the MVP Promotions fight card there were unconfirmed reports of a large six figure bet being placed on one of the undercard bouts between the 7-0 Yoenis Tellez and the 15-2 Livan Navarro. Tellez is known for his early Finishes and after a heavy punch connected in the third round before Tellez letting the fighter get through the round. In the 10th round Tellez landed a violent hook knocking Livan Navarro through the ropes.
Betting watchdog US Integrity has launched an investigation into the betting, rumors are circulating that one of the corner men involved in the fight may have placed a large bet on the outcome. No official confirmation of any violations, no consequences, and no public statements have been released about this incident as reported by MMA Mania.
Cris Cyborg the 16x MMA Grand Slam Champion will be making her own return to the boxing ring Jan. 19th as she makes her first professional boxing fight in California at the Pechaga Casino Resort against the #3 ranked female fighter in the USA Kelsey Wickstrum.
