UFC tells Larissa Pacheco they’re not interested

Larissa Pacheco might be the best fighter not signed to a major promotion.  A 2x PFL MMA Tournament Champion (and winner of two $1,000,000 prizes) Larissa Pacheco finally returned back to Combat Sports after almost 18 months away following her loss to Cris Cyborg at PFL Saudi Arabia.  Pacheco who had won 10 consecutive MMA fights in a row with 8 first round victories and notable wins over opponents like Kayla Harrison, Julia Budd, and Sara Kaufman.

Pacheco is considered the number 2 best featherweight in the sport of mixed martial arts, however she most recently announced she would be making a return to Bantamweight, a division she has not competed in since 2018.  With a win over Karol Rosa and Irene Aldana at that weight, Pacheco has already proven at Bantamweight she has the capability to compete at the highest level.

Looking to prove to the UFC that she can make the 135lbs Bantamweight division, Pacheco made her return to combat with a kickboxing match at Karate Combate 61 and secured a KO in the first round at 1:46 over her opponent Julia Stasiuk. Stasiuk who was 1-1 in an amateur career made her pro debut against Larissa Pacheco and it showed as Pacheco bullied her with over hand rights and power shots before securing the KO victory.  Following the win many people expected Pacheco to announce a possible signing with the UFC however instead she revealed UFC matchmaker Mick Maynard replied to her that the UFC is not interested in her services.  Pacheco is the last women to be Kayla Harrison and went all 5 rounds with Cris Cyborg in her final PFL MMA fight.

If Kayla Harrison loses her next MMA fight to Amanda Nunes after returning from neck surgery do you think the UFC will be interested in Pacheco at that time? Kayla has said she only plans on having 1 more fight in the Bantamweight limit of 135lbs before asking the UFC to make the featherweight division again.  Does Pacheco return to the Featherweight division if that means a 4th fight with Judo Kayla Harrison?
