UFC Freedom 250 White House Card revealed

There was a time when the sport of Mixed Martial Arts was illegal in the USA.  Fast forward and the UFC is set to be part of the United States of America’s 250th Birthday celebrations as the UFC will be hosting an event at the actual White House.  During the ain card of UFC 326 the initial fights where announced during the CBS broadcasted portion of the event.

The main event will be Ilia Topuria against the human highlight Justin Gaethje as the two will battle for the undisputed lightweight world championship at 155lbs in a bout scheduled for 5 rounds.

The Co Main event will feature Poatan Alex Pereira as he moves up the the Heavyweight division in an attempt to become the first 3 divisional champion in UFC history when he faces former interim champion Ciryl Gane.  American fan favorite Sugar Show Sean O’Malley will get a fight against Aiemann Zahabi of Canada for a number 1 contender spot in the bantamweight division.  Zahabi has won 7 fights in a row dating back to 2021 including decisions over Jose Aldo and Marlon Vera.

American wretsler Michael Chandler will face Fight Nerds star Mauricio Ruffy in a bout where many fans expected he would be fighting Conor McGregor.  A former Bellator MMA Champion and a crowd favorite Chandler will be looking for his first win since a 2022 victory over Tony Ferguson.

Bo Nickal will put his 8-1 record on the line against veteran Kyle Daukaus after Nickal suffered a loss last year to One Championship champion Reinier De Ridder while Daukaus has won 6 fights in a row including two first round finishes over Michel Pereira and Gerald Meerschaert.
