Read UFC Fighters reactions to Dustin Poirier win over Justin Gaethje at #UFC Glendale

What an absolute war UFC on Fox 29’s main event turned out to be. Dustin Poirier who was fighting in his 20th UFC fight faced Justin Gaethje who was a former World Series Of Fighting World Champion fighting in front of his own home crowd.

The fight was an intense pace from the first round until the finish 30 seconds into the fought.  Poirier was working the body and trying to smother the distance against Justin Gaethje. Gaethje utilized the inside kick to effectively slow down the movement of Poirier.

The sound out crowd at the Gila River Arena in Glendale Arizona had a great display of what a fight is about. Both athletes display incredible toughness and determination.  Ultimately it may have been Gaethje’s unwillingness to utilize all of his tools in mixed martial arts that was his demise.  With the win Poirier asked for a fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov.  Check out what the rest of the UFC had to say!
