Cyborg who made history as the first female world championship fight in the sport of MMA to take place in the MENA region when she captured the PFL Championship belt defeating Larissa Pacheco this past October. With the win Cyborg became the only champion with 5 promotional belts in the history of the sport.
Ukrainian Superstar Oleksandr Usyk had the entire world watching Riyadh Saudi Arabia as he defended the WBA, WBC, WBO Heavyweight belts with a masterful unanimous decision over Tyson Fury moving 2-0 in the series after the victory in the rematch. All three judges scored the fight 116-112 for Usyk.
Usyk outlanded Fury and had better accuracy as he connected on 179 of his 423 punches for a 42% landing rate while Fury was at 28% landing 144 of 509 punches thrown. At 37 years of Age Usyk showed his previous win was with good strategy and merit as most felt the 2nd fight was even more decisive. Turki Alalshikh put together an amazing night of boxing for the country of Saudi that the entire world was watching. Cyborg is rumored to return to the sport of Boxing sometime in February.
