Mark Hunt yells conspiracy with latest UFC Rankings and Matchmaking

Mark Hunt, never one to pull any punches or afraid to offer his honest opinion. The latest punch came via his Facebook where he called out the UFC’s ‘independent ranking’ by wanting to know why he is currently tied for 6th on the divisional rankings with a fighter in Derrick Lewis that Mark Hunt just beat several months ago.

While Hunt is tied with Derrick Lewis for the #6 ranking at Heavyweight, and has a win over his competitor it will be Derrick Lewis who will fight #1 contender Francis Ngannou next in an opportunity to earn the next shot at the UFC Heavyweight championship.

Hunt who had his issue with the UFC in the past has been in litigation with the company over facts surrounding his fight with Brock Lesnar who was a late addition into the USADA testing pool being granted an exemption only to test positive for banned substances following his bout with Mark Hunt.
