Manny Pacquiao returning to Boxing for World Championship fight

Manny Pacquiao is a legend both inside and outside of the ring. A humanitarian in his native country of the Philippines, Pacquiao has grown into a global icon thanks to the stage that a career in boxing provided him. While there are few things left to achieve in the sport of Boxing, Pacquiao will be returning one more time to fight July 19th in Las Vegas Nevada.

Now 46 years of age, Manny Pacquiao will be looking to become the oldest professional boxing champion in the history of the sport when he fights Mario Barrios for the WBC Welterweight championship. The fight which will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas will be a chance at another career defining moment for boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

A former Senator in the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao unsuccessfully ran for president in 2022. Pacquiao last fought against Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight championships in 2021 where he suffered a decision loss befoer returning for an exibition bout against Rukiya Anpo at Super Rizin 3 in Japan.

Pacquiao is the only fighter in the history of boxing to win world championships in 8 different divisions. The Co main event will be sebastian fundora against Tim Tszyu in a rematch.
