A former Senator in the Philippines, Manny Pacquiao unsuccessfully ran for president in 2022. Pacquiao last fought against Yordenis Ugas for the WBA welterweight championships in 2021 where he suffered a decision loss befoer returning for an exibition bout against Rukiya Anpo at Super Rizin 3 in Japan.
Pacquiao is the only fighter in the history of boxing to win world championships in 8 different divisions. The Co main event will be sebastian fundora against Tim Tszyu in a rematch.
