It has been a rough stretch for George Kamosos Jr as the professional boxer who recently turned 30 years of age has now dropped 3 of his last 4 fights after starting his career a blitzing 21-0. While all 3 defeats have come to top world talent with World Championship belts on the line, Kamosos has gone 0-3 in Australia against Devin Haney twice and Vasyl Lomachenko.
After picking up the IBO world light weight belt against Maxi Hughes in the USA, Kamosos returned to Perth in an attempt to unify the vacant IBF belt, however Vasyl Lomachenko had other plans.
Lomachenko who has lost to Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez put on a dazzling display at 36 years of age scoring the 11th round KO finish over George Kambosos Jr in his first fight back since the decision defeat to Devin Haney in Las Vegas.
With exciting possible matchups for both Lomachenko and Kambosos this will not be the end for either fighter as they both put on a spectacular fight for fans. Lomachenko could look for a rematch with Teofimo or perhaps look to secure another championship fight in pursuit of becoming unified while Kamosos will most likely look to rebound before taking another big named opponent.
