With 4 World Championship fights Bellator MMA’s 300th event scheduled for Oct. 7th in San Diego California was already a stacked event, however the matchmakers have given fans another exciting fight to look forward to as a pivotal matchup between top 5 featherweights Leah McCourt and Sara McMann has been announced.
With Cris Cyborg Vs Cat Zingano scheduled as a Co Main Event, fans will be happy to know that this bout will serve as a backup at 145lbs should anything happen to one of the headline featherweights on Bellator 300.
McCourt who is 703 in MMA and 6-2 in Bellator MMA will be looking to rebound from a close decision loss to Cat Zingano at Bellator 293 this past March while McMann who is a former Wrestling Silver medalist in the olympics will be looking to continue momentum after her victory over Arlene Blencowe this past April in Hawaii.
With McCourt X McMann matched up on the same card as Cyborg X Zingano the possibility that the two winners could face each other next makes the matchups even more compelling for fans heading to San Diego live for the event. If you have not purchased tickets for Bellator 300 be sure to get them with CODE: Cyborg to get access to limited section of Friends & Family seats.
