Following up on an epic run of weekends which include San Fransisco and two nights of action in Hawaii, Bellator MMA is now back with an International event as they head to the Accor Arena in Paris France with a rematch in the main event as Ryan Bader battles Cheick Kongo in a rematch of their 2019 bout which ended in a No Contest due to accidental eye poke due to GNP.  Undefeated at Heavyweight Bader has lost to Corey Anderson and Vadim Nemkov at LHW but has earned wins over Lyoto Machida and Valentin Moldavsky since that performance. With the exception of two split decision losses to Tim Johnson and King Mo, Kongo has been undefeated the last 8 years with victories over Olli Thompson, Augusto Sakai, Tim Johnson, Jay Ayala, Vitaly Minakov, and the legendary russian standout Sergei Kharitonv.

The Co Main event will feature Yoel Romero against late replacement Alex Polizzi who is competing in place of Melvin Manhoef who injured his hand defending himself against robbers. With 13 total fights highlights include Loren Larkin Vs Kyle Stewart, Mike Shipman V Gregory Babene, Pedro Carvalho V Pitr Niedzielski, and Denmark’s standout Soren Bak faces Charlie Leary.

MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion Cris Cyborg defended her Bellator MMA Championship belt with a spectacular 5 round performance displaying true dominance against a 2x World Boxing Champion and the #1 contender in Bellator MMA Arlene Blencowe.  A Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, Cris Cyborg elected to keep most of the fight standing to the delight of her fans as she continued to display a more evolved striking game which included elbows strikes from distance, a rear snap kick, and a much more diverse display of upper body kicking strikes in route to winning all 5 rounds with the strategy and performance.
