Cris Cyborg make her return to the sport of Professional Boxing last month against the undefeated Kelsey Wickstrum who was ranked #3 in the USA for Women’s Boxing and was a former amateur boxing champion from Northern California before turning professional.
Cyborg needed only 81 seconds. After setting up her jab, using a few feints to close the distance, Cyborg landed a thudding overhand right which dropped her opponent Kelsey Wickstrum who without fault attempted to get back to her feet before falling one more time forcing the ref to stop the bout.
With the performance Cyborg isn now officially 2-0 in professional boxing in addition to an exhibition bout which was held in her hometown of Curitiba Brazil where she picked up the FMS South of Brazil boxing championship for her efforts. Having 21 wins in MMA via TKO/KO the only Grand Slam Champion in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts, Cris Cyborg looks poised to make a big run in the sport of Boxing as well.
