Rumor Khabib Nurmagomedov owes Russia taxes

It has been an eventful week of gossip and rumors around Khabib Nurmagomedov as the UFC great had his gym in Makhachkala raided by Russian armed forces as part of an ongoing operational search measure.  It is also being reported by REN TV that the Federal Tax Service has frozen Nurmagomedov’s accounts due to the substantial debt with the reports being confirmed on the FTS website ”There are valid decision on suspension for the specific tax payer”

While reports indicate that one of the terrorist killed in the recent attacks in Dagestan was MMA fighter Gadzhimurad Kagirov who was a former student of the martial arts academy.  Nurmagomedov was quick to condemed the attacks declaring clearly, “The terrorist is not our student, that is absolute nonsense, it’s not true, yes, he had a camp at the gym at some point, maybe for a couple of months, but ne was never part of the team.”

Khabib Nurmagomedov allegedly now resides in the UAE, with rumors being he has now received citizenship of the United Arab Emirates.  Khabib and Cris Cyborg both fought together as part of UFC 219 where Cris Cyborg went on to defend her UFC Featherweight Championship over 5 rounds against Holly Holm as the main event.
