Dricus Du Plessis beats Israel Adesanya in main event of UFC Australia

While the current champion, many people had DDP Dricus Du Plessis as the underdog heading into his fight with former UFC Middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in the UFC’s return to Perth Australia’s main event.  Not to be out done, South African MMA star Dricus Du Plessis defending his Middleweight championships with a solid back and forth action before securing a fight ending rear neck submission.

Kai Kara France showed his layoff was nothing as he KO’d former flyweight title contender Steve Erceg with a first round blitz. Dan Hooker put another strong performance together as he scored a huge upset victory over Mateusz Gamrot.  Carlos Prates continued to show his promise with a KO over the Leech Li Jing Liang of China.

UFC 305 in Perth Australia was a great night of fights.  Other winners include Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Valter Walker, Ricardo Ramos, Casey O’Neil, Jack Jenkins, Tom Nolan, Song Kenan and Jesus Aguilar.
