Cris Cyborg and Holly Holm fought in the UFC over 6 years ago as the main event of UFC 219 where Cris Cyborg won a 5 round decision over Holly Holm in a Fight of The Night performance by both ladies. Since that time, Cyborg has faced Arlene Blencowe 2x’s in Bellator MMA who is another JacksonWink trained MMA fighter.
Cyborg who was originally rumored to be fighting Kayla Harrison, recently joined MMA reporter James Lynch to tell fans that she will be heading to Albuquerque New Mexico to help as a part of Holly Holm’s training camp preparations for UFC 300.
Cyborg who is a BJJ Black Belt, Collegiate level wrestler, ADCC Medalist, 2x IBJJ World Champion and a 16x MMA Champion had this to say about the experience, “I”m looking forward to training with Holly, learning from their team and just helping her get prepared for this fight. I think it will be a great night for Holly Holm at UFC 300.”
