Cris Cyborg stars in new movie Operation Black Ops to be released on Digital and DVD July 11th

Cris Cyborg will be making her return to the big screen as she is set to star in her second movie, this time opposite Tito Ortiz who is the Co Star of this Uncork’d Entertainment produced Action Thriller.  Directed by Jamaal Burden the film also stars Mike Ferguson, Kelsey Jhnson, Mike Markoff, Paul Bikibili, JD Ellis, Elicia Gakima, Rafael Cansino, JR Orvalle, Jenna Pena, and Mario Torres.

The plot features a group of mercenaries who are hired to overthrow a Neo-Nazi stronghold nestled deep in the heart of Texas, only to discover they are protecting nuclear codes that could ignite World War III.  “Featuring high velocity action sequences and plenty of bullets, Operation Black Ops will keep action audiences enthralled.” said Keith Leopard, president of Uncork’d Entertainment.  “IF you loved the expendables movies, you’ll definitely want to check this one out when we release this summer.”

For Cris Cyborg this is the second film she has appeared in with her first movie coming alongside Meisha Tate, Holly Holm, and Amanda Serrano in the cult classic Fight Valley. While Cyborg is still active in her fight career she has appeared on the Brazilian Soap Opera Edge of Desire, as well as appearing in the Jake Paul: Dana White Diss Track. When asked if there is more acting in her future the champ had this to say, “I am excited for each opportunity as they become a reality and my team is currently negotiating several new movie roles for me to focus on between my fights.”
