Cris Cyborg named by ESPN on Top Women MMA fighters of the 21st century list

Cris Cyborg is the only Grand Slam Champion in the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.  Winning her first MMA World Championship in 2009 defeating Gina Carano for the Strikeforce Featherweight title, Cyborg would go on to win World Championships in every major promotion in the sport including Invicta FC, UFC, and Bellator MMA.

With 19 years of professional MMA fighting and only 2 defeats, Cris Cyborg had a historic 14 year unbeaten period before an upset loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 232.  Leaving the UFC with a victory over #1 contender Felicia Spencer, Cyborg would go on to capture the Bellator MMA Championship when she took the belt from Julia Budd.

The complete list of top Female MMA fighters of the 21st century include; Amanda Nunes, Cris Cyborg, Ronda Rousey, Valenitna shevchenko, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Rose Namajuna, zhang Weili, Miesha Tate, Megumi Fujii, and Holly Holm.  Of the 10 fighters listed, Cyborg is the only current champion.  19 years Cyborg has been ranked #1, #2, or #3 on EVERY Pound for Pound list, once Cyborg retires it is going to be a LONG TIME before we see another fighter like her!
