Carl Frampton is 24-1 as a professional and is getting set to face Nonito Donaire who is 38-4 in his career. The winner of this fight could possibly face WBO featherweight champion Oscar Valdez or the winner of Lee Selby Vs Josh Warrington. The WBO interim Title will be up for grabs on Saturday when Frampton faces Donaire.

Frampton said to the Telegraph.co, “For me it’s make or break, because if I win this fight I’m going to be fighting at Windsor Park in the summer,” talking about him facing the winner of the Selby vs. Warrington fight if he defeats Donaire.
Framton will have to get past Donaire first, which could be a big risk. Sceptics wonder why he is fighting #3 ranked WBC and #8 ranked WBO fighter Donaire instead of picking up a fighter like Horacio Garcia who is an easier pick by most experts. Donaire has only fought once in 2017 a 10 round decision against Ruben Garcia Hernancez in a bout that was closer than it was suppose to be.I need to win this, I know how important it is. But I know how dangerous Nonito is, and in that sense it is a make or break for me,” Frampton said.
Donaire lost to Guillermo Rigondeauz back in 2013 which seemed to slow down his progression, after putting together a 4 fight win streak , Donaire suffered a loss to Magdaleno in 2016. The winner of this fight could very possibly fight the winner of Selby Vs. Warrington later this year.
