Ben Henderson will look to make history this Friday night as he steps into the Bellator MMA Cage in the main event against Usman Nurmagomedov the cousin of UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov. With a win Benson Henderson could become only the third fighter in the history of the sport to capture the UFC and Bellator MMA Championships. A well rounded fighter Nurmagomedov is a good submission artist, quality striker, and top wrestler. Cyborg officially gave her prediction for the fight and saying “I think Henderson’s experience will be enough for him and I see the former UFC Champion winning the Bellator MMA belt.”
With the victory Benson Henderson would become only the third fighter to win Bellator MMA and UFC Gold joining Eddie Alvarez and Cris Cyborg. The Bellator MMA belt would also give Benson Henderson his 3rd career world title including WEC, UFC, and Bellator MMA giving him rights to the Triple Crown Club which Cris Cyborg was a part of before becoming MMA’s only Grand Slam Champion with 4 world titles on her resume.
