Well it seems that Brian Norman Jr has moved on from a fight against Jaron Boots Ennis, atleast for the time being. While negotiations took place to make a unification bout between WBO chapion Brian Norman Jr and IBF Champion Jaron Boots Ennis, team Norman decided to book a fight against Derrieck Cuevas on the 8th of November in Norfolk Virginia instead. Cuevas is currently ranked #7 in the world.
Eddie Hearn took the negotiations public after comments of a low ball offer from Adrian Clark who manages Brian Normal Jr. Hearn revealed that he offered 1.5 million for the fight, when Norman Jr was paid 100,000 for his last fight inside the ring. It is currently unknown how much Norman Jr will be paid for his bout against Cuevas.
It is believed that Norman Jr wanted upwards of 2 million dollars for the fight. It is currently unknown what Boots Enis would make for the fight, however rumors are that it would have a guarantee of close to 5 million. What do you think Cyborg Nation will we see these two champions in the boxing ring?
