Building on the success of the historic New Year’s Eve Co-Promotion Bellator MMA and Rizin FF have announced that Sunday July30th fight fans are again being treated to the MMA World Series of Fighting as the two promotions will again work together to promote a super event.
Showcasing the Bellator MMA Lightweight World Grand Prix Quarterfinal matchup of former Featherweight World Champion AJ Mckee against Ex Lightweight World Champion Patrick Pitbull the event will also feature former Bellator and Rizin Champion Kyoji Horguchi against the 16-1-1 fighter Makoto Shinryu Takahashi.
The historic Saitama Super Arena will play backdrop to the historic event as Bellator MMA introduces the Men’s 125lbs championship for the first time! Kyoji Horgushi who is a long time Pound for Pound legend will be looking to secure his place at the top of the 125lbs. Do you think with continued cross over from the two promotions that we could see Cris Cyborg fighting in Japan before she retires?
